Christen Ball is digging her own lane as an alternative rock artist in Nashville, combining high-energy performances with down-to-earth storytelling. Her self-described sound, “A Sonic Time Machine to 1997,” features intricate chord structures and introspective lyrics, drawing inspiration from Alanis Morissette, Jeff Buckley, The Moody Blues, and Radiohead. 

Her latest release, “Blue,” has surpassed 6 million views on TikTok, and her single, “Invisible,” held the #1 spot on one of Amazon Music’s Alternative editorial playlists. With eight singles released and a fan-and-friend-funded record in the works, new original music continues to flow.

In 2025, Christen was a featured artist at the 28th Annual Jeff Buckley Tribute in Chicago, where Mary Guibert called her set “brilliant.” She also sang with rising star Mae Estes on the Luke Bryan tour (including Hersheypark Stadium) and opened for legendary rock band The Babys at Franklin Theatre. 

In 2026, Christen was selected to be an artist member of Nashville Basement Stage, a patron organization supporting independent artists in Nashville.***

An international performer, she has brought her music to the UK, Israel, India, Haiti, and China, and regularly performs throughout the U.S. and her hometown of Nashville, connecting with listeners who still believe that music is art.
